I thought the finish looked a little odd too. I think its been redone and not professionally.

Anyone see this? It's only a 5 day listing, so it just sort of appeared midlist. Nice low starting list, as opposed to the crazy person who thinks that their red one will sell for $2874!!! (Not that I'm in the market, or geographic location anyway.)

Is it the original porcelain, or is it painted? It looks a bit odd, but it does say that the stove's dirty. I asked the seller.

Well, I just got a reply back from the seller. He says it's original and not refinished. Must just be grimy and dull from 50+ years of wear. It would probably clean up nicely.
